Downstairs, the enclosed living room, dining area and kitchen form one open, air-conditioned space, with full-height glass doors onto a long private pool, sun loungers and a planted garden. The kitchen has a stone-topped island with bar stools, a gas hob and a fridge. Each of the three bedrooms has its own bathroom, and freestanding bathtubs look out over the rice fields. One bedroom has a dedicated desk and sofa, so working from home is easy. Ceiling fans, a flat-screen TV and WiFi throughout, plus scooter parking.

Fully furnished, minimum three months. Housekeeping and pool and garden maintenance twice a week, WiFi, garbage collection and banjar fees are included; electricity and consumables are paid separately. Pets are welcome with an extra fee and deposit. Ask us when the villa is free.

Munggu sits just inland from Seseh, quieter than Canggu but close to it, with no construction nearby. Omni Gym is about three minutes away, Seseh Street cafés and Copenhagen Seseh around five, Seseh Beach about eleven and Luna Beach Club fourteen. Ngurah Rai airport is roughly 50 minutes by car.
