4BR Boho Villa with Vaulted Ceilings & Outdoor Lounge in Umalas

A four-bedroom boho family villa on 400 m² in Bumbak, Umalas, available yearly. Whitewashed plaster throughout, pale timber beams, a vaulted bamboo ceiling over the living area and a curved pool with a shallow ledge in the lawn. Single storey, very bright, and quiet enough that the loudest thing is usually the garden.

Living, dining and kitchen share one tall open room under the vault, with built-in plaster bench seating, rattan pendants and a kitchen island with bar stools. The whole side of it folds open onto the garden or closes up completely, so it works as an indoor room or an outdoor one depending on the day. Outside, a timber deck sits under a bamboo pergola with more built-in seating, a TV and two drinks fridges built into the counter. Of the four bedrooms, three have double beds and the fourth is a kids' room with two sets of bunks — eight people in total. Bedrooms are plaster and exposed beams with built-in bed bases; one has a desk for two under the window. Four bathrooms, air conditioning in every bedroom.

Fully furnished, on a minimum twelve-month lease. WiFi, pool maintenance, garden maintenance, structural maintenance and the banjar and garbage fees are all included. Parking for up to four scooters. Pets are not allowed.

Bumbak is the quiet residential end of Umalas, between Canggu and Seminyak without the traffic of either, and nothing is under construction nearby. Batu Belig Beach is around seven minutes, and Finns Beach Club and Potato Head are both well under ten. Berawa, Petitenget and Seminyak are all short rides, international schools are close, and Ngurah Rai airport is roughly thirty-five minutes by car.
