The exterior gives you one story. White render walls dripping with bougainvillea — white blooms on one side, deep pink on the other — climbing vines cascading across the facade, and a cobalt-blue door at the entrance that looks like it was lifted from a side street in Montpellier or a Cycladic village in Greece. From the outside, this is a European house that somehow landed in a quiet gang in Umalas.

Then you walk in, and the story shifts completely.

Inside, the design language is industrial — polished concrete floors, exposed black ceiling beams, geometric pendant lighting, a vintage tripod lamp in the lounge, and a mezzanine staircase with concrete treads. A living green wall runs behind the stainless prep sink in the teak island kitchen. The lounge walls are hung gallery-style with original artwork. A purple accent wall anchors the daybed area. What ties it together is not a single style but a consistent conviction — every room has been curated rather than furnished, and the curation holds from the ground floor to the rooftop.

The three levels each function as a self-contained floor with its own bedroom, bathroom, and living area. The ground floor opens directly onto the curved private pool through cobalt-blue sliding doors — the pool is bordered by a grass edge and timber deck, with the bougainvillea pergola providing shade at one end.
