Lexington Palace Villa is not one house but three, arranged around a single long pool in Ungasan on the Bukit peninsula. Each villa is self-contained: its own lounge, its own dining table, its own full kitchen, its own front door. Six bedrooms in total, split two to a building.

That is the reason to book it. A group of twelve gets a shared pool and a shared bar pavilion to gather around, and three separate houses to retreat into when they want to. Nobody is sleeping on a sofa bed or sharing a kitchen with people they only half know.

The architecture is contemporary Balinese — pitched roofs, warm timber, woven rattan cabinetry, and full-height glass that opens the living rooms onto the garden. All six bedrooms are king rooms with an en-suite; two of them have a freestanding stone tub set behind sliding glass, and the other four have walk-in rain showers.

The pool runs the length of the garden in dark green tile, edged with sun loungers and parasols. At one end a thatched pavilion holds a long timber table and a bar counter — the spot a group of twelve actually ends up in. The plot is 600 m² of building on 1000 m² of garden.

Three separate villa buildings sit around one pool. Each has an open-plan living and dining room under a high pitched ceiling, with full-height glass sliding onto the garden, a green upholstered sofa, a Smart TV and a ceiling fan. Each has its own kitchen — rattan-fronted cabinetry, stone counters, a breakfast bar with stools, full fridge, gas hob, microwave and toaster.

All six bedrooms are king rooms with air conditioning, a Smart TV, wardrobe space and a safe. Several open directly onto a terrace, a balcony or the garden. Each has its own en-suite finished in pale polished plaster, with a black round mirror, a rattan pendant and a rectangular terrazzo basin. Two of the six add a freestanding oval stone tub behind a sliding glass wall, alongside the rain shower.

Outside, a long dark-green tiled pool runs down the middle of the garden. Timber sun loungers and traditional parasols line one side; stepping stones cross the lawn. The thatched pavilion at the pool’s end is the social centre — a long timber dining table, a bar counter with stools, and lounge seating under an alang-alang roof.

A villa manager and a second staff member look after the property, with daily housekeeping, pool maintenance and gardening. There is CCTV on the property and covered parking. A yoga space and in-villa massage can be arranged.
