Teak runs through the whole house — backlit slat headboard walls in the bedrooms, a fitted kitchen, a carved timber mirror the width of the living room — against pale tile and white walls, so it stays cool and bright rather than dark.

Living, dining and kitchen sit together in an open area with a stone-clad breakfast bar and full cooking kit. It opens to a covered terrace with a dining table looking over the pool, a timber sun deck and loungers on one side and lawn on the other. Of the four bedrooms, one opens straight onto the pool, one onto the garden, and upstairs there are balconies over the palms — one bedroom up there has its own. Four bathrooms, air conditioning throughout, WiFi and a TV.

Rental includes housekeeping twice a week, linen and towel change twice a week, garden and pool maintenance twice a week and internet are all included in that. Fully furnished and ready to move into, sleeps up to eight, with bike parking behind the gate. Pets are not allowed.

Umalas is the quiet middle ground between Seminyak and Canggu — residential rather than busy, with nothing under construction nearby, but a few minutes from everything on either side. Batu Belig Beach is around ten minutes, and Finns Beach Club and Potato Head are both about the same. Umalas, Berawa and Seminyak are all short rides, and Ngurah Rai airport is roughly thirty-five minutes by car.
